Australia's Future Tax System

The Group of 100 (G100) is an organization of chief financial officers from Australia’s largest business enterprises with the purpose of advancing Australia’s financial competitiveness.

The G100 believes that improved corporate governance of the Australian Tax Office (ATO) will strengthen its ability to deal with the challenges that it faces and enable it to better serve the public and meet the needs of taxpayers.

The G100 commends the Review Panel for recommending the establishment of a board to advise the Commissioner of Taxation on general management and organization of the ATO.

We strongly support this recommendation and will pursue its adoption by the Government.
